Privacy Policy

Last updated: 26 July 2026

MailQuick is a personal, single-user email client for iOS. It is not a commercial service and has no public sign-up. This policy explains what the app does with data.

What data the app handles

How data is used

Data is used only to provide the app’s core function: reading, searching, organising, and sending the user’s own email. It flows between the user’s mail providers, the user’s private backend, and the user’s device.

Sharing

No email content or personal data is sold, rented, or shared with third parties. There is no advertising and no analytics/tracking SDK. Data is transmitted to third parties only as strictly required to operate email itself — i.e. the user’s own mail providers and Apple’s push notification service.

Storage & security

All connections use TLS (IMAPS/SMTP STARTTLS/HTTPS). Credentials are stored in the device keychain and on the owner’s private server. The app caches messages locally on the device for performance; clearing or deleting the app removes that cache.

Retention & deletion

Because this is a personal client, email stays on the user’s own mail servers under the user’s control. Removing an account or deleting the app removes the corresponding local data.
